This updated cabin sits on 65 secluded acres near Arkansas's Buffalo National River, mid-America's premier canoeing destination. Located next to the Lower Buffalo River Wilderness Area, it features some of the best horseback riding in Arkansas, as well as great hunting, hiking and fishing. Check out our "Things To Do" page for information on area attractions and activities. With two bedrooms and a large sun porch/sleeping porch, this cabin has everything you can possibly want. Our property is shown as a destination get away in the March 2019 issue of AY Magazine.
The sun porch/sleeping porch has a full bed along with a day bed. The cabin will accommodate up to 8 adults. Please note that we are located in a remote area, approximately 9 miles to the closest convenience store (Wild Bill's at intersection of State Highways 14 & 268) and 19 miles to the nearest grocery store in Marshall. Be sure to stock up on food and beverages before you arrive.
The kitchen has a toaster, microwave, coffee maker (traditional type "Mr. Coffee" that uses ground coffee), pots, pans, bowls, plates, utensils and silverware. There is a charcoal grill (please bring charcoal) and a fire ring with plenty of firewood. Please do not use the charcoal grill on the wood deck!
We provide necessities such as dish cloths, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and cleaning supplies. There will be clean towels in the full bathroom and clean sheets, blankets and pillows on the beds when you arrive. There is a strict "NO SMOKING" policy. If you or anyone in your party smokes outside the cabin, there are receptacles for discarded cigarettes. Please use them.
